For Cage Warriors 82 on the 1 April, the promotion introduced the enhanced Safe MMA Plus medical clearance standard for its UK events.
All fighters (as listed below) submitted dilated pupil eye exams and brain/neck scans as required under the enhanced protocol, in addition to blood test results and medical examinations.
The Liverpool Echo Arena event marked an increase in Cage Warriors’ athlete clearance standards, demonstrating the promotion’s serious commitment to fighter safety.
